Applications are invited for the above post of Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology based at St Richard’s Hospital, part of the Western Sussex NHS Foundation Trust to commence on 1 December 2018.

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at St Richard’s Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking consultant to join our team.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead the early pregnancy service.  They will be required to participate in the benign gynaecology service including emergency gynaecology. Skills in minimal access surgery and gynaecological scanning are therefore essential.

Full-time including participation in a consultant of the week on call system working a 1:6 consultant of the week frequency and a 1:7 weekend frequency.

Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of attaining Specialist Registration at the time of interview. Applications from candidates who, for personal reasons, are unable to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for this post.
