Consultant in Geratology and General Internal Medicine
Consultant in Geratology and General Internal Medicine with a special interest in Orthogeriatrics, Peri-operative Medicine and Ambulatory Medicine
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to appoint three consultants in Geriatric Medicine with an interest in orthogeriatrics, peri-operative and complex medicine incorporating frailty/ambulatory pathways.
We are looking for colleagues to work with existing consultants in the major trauma centre, the surgical emergency unit and on our complex medicine wards.
All of the jobs will include a block of acute general medicine (AGM) or sessions on one of our award winning ambulatory units.
The Trust has recently been awarded £10 million from NHS Digital as one of 12 Trusts on a fast track to becoming paperless. This Directorate has been at the forefront of this change having led the e-prescribing rollout. New colleagues are expected to support this ongoing work; training will be provided.
The appointment is based on a full-time 10PA job-plan. Applications are welcome from those who wish to job share or combine clinical work with research.
