A South Tees Consultant In General Paediatrics Post may be just what you are looking for.

We are looking to recruit additional Consultants to join our team of 25 Paediatric Consultants who work across Middlesbrough and Northallerton.

This is an exciting post for general Paediatricians who will be supported with their special interest which will be worked into the job plan. We are supportive of Consultants who wish to work either whole-time, part-time or shared (Between6 - 10 PA contracts available).

This post will complement the other paediatricians at James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) and Friarage Hospital, Northallerton (FHN).

The post holder will see children referred by general practitioners in paediatric outpatients.

The department has a policy to ensure a reasonable waiting time for new referrals and the successful candidate will be expected to take a part in seeing new referrals.

The successful applicant would work either on the p rota or the g rota depending on their skill level.

Recently rated as one of the best in the country for patient safety and one of the top 40 hospitals by CHKS for the thirteenth year running.

South Tees Hospitals is one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in England. James Cook University Hospital is a modern tertiary centre with virtually all clinical services on a single site. It is a major trauma centre, vascular centre, and regional cancer centre with over 1000beds.

In this lesser known corner of the North East housing costs remain both reasonable and stable. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Dales are close to hand and provide fantastic walking and cycling opportunities.
