St Mark’s Hospital and academic institute, is a centre of excellence for gastroenterology specialist clinical care, research and education within London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The Trust is one of the largest integrated care trusts in the country bringing together hospital and community services across Brent, Ealing and Harrow.

We are inviting applications for this new post to specifically meet the increasing demand for specialist endoscopy in patients with inherited cancer syndromes and to also support the growing need for gastroenterology out-patients clinics. The post offers opportunities to contribute to the academic and educational activities within St Mark’s. It will integrate with the current specialities offered by the current Gastroenterology team, which include GI physiology, endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition and hepatobiliary disorders. The post-holder will join the GI Bleed rota and is not expected to participate in the general medical rota.

The post is open to applicants with CCT in Gastroenterology/Medicine or be within 6 months of their expected CCT date.
