TEMPORARY CONSULTANT PAEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGIST

This is a temporary post with 19.5 hours at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin 12, Ireland on a Type B Contract for 12 months.

Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin is Ireland’s largest paediatric hospital and currently has 234 beds and cots in use. It provides evidence based quartenary, tertiary and secondary quality care to children and adolescents in a safe environment driven by knowledge through education and research for a range of specialties included children’s childhood cancers and blood disorders, cardiac diseases, major burns, cystic fibrosis and rheumatology.

The Children’s Heart Centre at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin is the primary paediatric cardiac care centre for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Applicants must:

  • Be registered as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of

A. Be registered as a Specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of paediatrics

B. Possess two years’ certified postgraduate training in paediatric cardiology
