We are recruiting for a Consultant Otolaryngologist who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
The ORL Department is very busy providing the full range of sub specialist services to this 740,000 population of North Kent, between Sheppey / Sittingbourne in the East, through to Dartford / Swanley in the West. The post holder will be one of six Consultants’ in the unit.
The Department is organised on a sub Specialisation basis, and is committed to training – being part of the KSS ORL Training Scheme. In addition, the Trust teaches students of Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, King’s College, London, in General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstetrics. We have an active Postgraduate Centre with an excellent Library.
The Medway Towns sits in the heart of Kent and is close to the historic town of Rochester and is on the Estuary between the Thames and the Medway River providing excellent sailing facilities.
Medway boasts excellent grammar schools in the area and its close proximity to the continent with high speed rail links makes it an ideal place to live. Medway is also within easy reach of London, taking 30 minutes on the High Speed Train.
