Special interest in Head & Neck Imaging

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic & highly motivated Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Head & Neck Imaging to join a team of 42 consultants, 3 staff grade doctors and 20 registrars working collaboratively across the 3 sites to provide high quality imaging service.

The post holder will work as part of a team of consultants providing a high quality H&N service across all 3 Trust sites. The post holder will support and work closely with the lead for H&N and the Clinical Director as well as the superintendent radiographers and other consultant colleagues in Radiology, to ensure the team is able to continue to provide and develop an outstanding specialty service.

Established on 1st October 2014, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest integrated NHS Trusts in the country employing more than 8,000 staff with a budget of more than £640 million a year. The Trust is the first Trust of its kind to provide complete hospital-based and community healthcare services to a combined population of 850,000 in the boroughs of Brent, Harrow and Ealing.

The Trust is the hub-site for the North West London H&N Cancer MDT network, and a tertiary centre for Maxillo-facial surgery, as well as a large and busy ENT centre. The post holder will provide specialist support to clinicians and also contribute to the general departmental workload. Appropriate experience will be required to deliver both the specialist service and support general ultrasound, MRI and CT reporting.
