You are invited for Consultant in Pain medicine and Anaesthesia at St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This appointment affords an exciting opportunity to join a busy, innovative, developing and expanding Pain Medicine team and anaesthetic department.
This post has arisen as a result of an expansion of the Trust's services in both Pain Management and Anaesthesia. This post is available on a whole time/part time/job share basis as appropriate (10 PA's). This post offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated anaesthetist to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multi-disciplinary care in St. Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals.
The anaesthetic team currently has 40 consultants, supported by an associate specialist, 4 specialty grade doctors, and 15 specialist trainees. This is a new post to expand the existing pain management team, currently comprising of 3 pain Medicine consultants and an associate specialist.
Here, you will work in purpose built, state of the art facilities. You’ll help us build on our excellent reputation for delivering high quality patient care and you’ll be instrumental in enhancing our capacity to deliver world-class Anaesthetic Services. You’ll be glad you chose to join our team. Successful applicants must have full GMC registration and be on the specialty register or be within 6 months of receiving their CCT from date of interview.
