Integrated Breast Service - Surgery & Anaesthesia CBU

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Breast Consultant to join our busy Integrated Breast Service which provides comprehensive screen detected and symptomatic breast cancer diagnostic and reconstructive services.

The post attracts 10 PA's and there will be no on call commitments.

You should be a fully trained, highly experienced Breast Surgeon, with excellent interpersonal skills (Oncoplastic training and experience an advantage).

The state of the art purpose unit at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is home to the Integrated Breast Service Team serving a population of 360,000. .

As Affiliated Teaching Hospital with 600 beds, The hospital has embarked on a programme of progressive development and innovation, including a £30m extension to the main hospital block (Foundation Wing) housing the coronary care unit, 16 bedded state of the art Intensive Care Unit and Paediatric/Adolescent unit.

The area is largely rural, providing a housing market which remains very competitively priced and offers a number of market towns and many charming villages, all within easy reach of major cities. There is excellent educational provision in the area, both state and public and sports, leisure and recreational facilities to meet the needs of the whole family.
