Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust Nuneaton. This is a replacement post and the new post holder will be required to develop the oncoplastic breast surgical services within the trust which is part of the Coventry and Warwickshire breast screening programme. An enthusiastic surgeon with an interest to develop reconstruction services will find this job attractive. This is a 10 Programmed Activity post within the breast unit with no oncall commitments.
The newly appointed consultant will join an enthusiastic and friendly unit with two consultant surgeons (including this post), speciality doctor, FY2, FY1 and breast care nurses. The unit is ably supported by Radiologists and Pathologists from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
Newly appointed consultants will join the Trusts well established New Consultants Leadership Programme.
Applicants must be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining their CCT at the time of the interview. The appointee is required to have wide experience and training in Breast and Oncoplastic surgery.
