Clinical Fellow in Genomic Medicine (Cancer Genetics)
This post provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic clinician seeking to gain experience in Genomic Medicine. As an integral member of the North East Thames Regional Genetics Service you will have the opportunity to gain clinical and laboratory experience in the management of adult and paediatric patients who have, or are at risk of, a hereditary cancer predisposition condition.
You will have the opportunity to work with clinical scientists in interpreting genomic data and learn how this data can be utilised in clinical decision-making in both cancer care and acute paediatric care.
This post would be most suited to anyone wishing to gain cancer genetics experience, including those wanting to pursue a career in clinical genetics, those with a background in oncology, or those wishing to gain broader experience in Genomic Medicine who have completed, or are in the process of studying for a MSc. in Genomic Medicine.
