Clinical Research Fellow in Critical Care

We are seeking to employ two ambitious and diligent clinical fellows to join a large and established research group for 12 months with a view to extending this to 2-3 years in order to complete a higher degree or other relevant educational qualification where suitable.
The Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU) at The Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust is amongst the largest in the UK and admits a wide range of medical, surgical and major trauma cases including secondary and tertiary referrals.
The Critical Care and Perioperative Research Group at Barts Health and Queen Mary University of London has an internationally recognised track record. Areas of specific interest relate to perioperative medicine, major surgery and trauma and acute kidney injury. In addition, the group runs a successful MSc programme in Critical Care Medicine and applicants interested in undertaking a clinical teaching fellowship are also invited.
Clinical duties will involve providing rotating cover on the Adult Critical Care Unit at The Royal London Hospital.
This post is suitable for intensive care, anaesthesia, medicine or surgery trainees with an interest in developing their research potential. The successful applicant is expected to take up the post in February 2019.
