Applications are invited for two Consultant Dermatologists in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is the major teaching hospital for the North East of Scotland. The Department of Dermatology provides tertiary services for the NHS Grampian Region and the Orkney and Shetland Islands. 

The Department of Dermatology offers a comprehensive Dermatology service for outpatient and in-patient care including day treatments. 

The services include General Adult and Paediatric Dermatology, Patch Testing, Phototherapy, Photodynamic treatment, Hyperhidrosis clinics, laser service for Medical Dermatology, Skin Cancer clinics and Skin Cancer surgery. 

The department also provides Mohs micrographic surgery as a part of the North of the Scotland Mohs surgery network. Development of subspecialty interest will be encouraged depending on candidate preferences and departmental requirements.

The successful applicants would join a team of 3 NHS Consultants, and Specialist Nursing support. Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. For more information visit www.gmc-uk.org 

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
