You are invited for 3 Consultant Radiologists to join our current team of 19 Radiologists. Ideally we are looking for candidates with sub-specialist interests in interventional, breast and neuro/ENT radiology, although other sub-specialist interests would be considered.

The Trust has 3 sites, at Watford General Hospital, Hemel Hempstead General Hospital and St Albans City Hospital and is situated north of London with attractive surrounding countryside and excellent local schools and transport links.

Acute services are centralised on the Watford site and breast imaging at the St Albans site. There is an Acute Assessment Unit with 120 beds at the Watford site with dedicated imaging facilities. You will be required to work some extended hours into the evening and at weekends in providing a Consultant led service for the acute admissions at Watford General Hospital. The reporting of out of hours CT scans has been outsourced to a private company and the successful candidate would be expected to join the back up on-call rota (currently 1:17).

These posts are full-time, however, applicants wishing to work part-time or job-share are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant must possess the F.R.C.R. or equivalent and have their C.C.T. or be within 6 months of obtaining their C.C.T. at the time of interview. Informal enquiries and visits very welcome.
