The Emergency Department sees 40,000 patients per annum and functions as the sole Trauma Centre on the island. It is a vibrant, rapidly developing department with a young, driven team. There is consultant presence on the shop floor 8am to 8pm.

Total Salary 9 Pa Role (Including 1 Spa)
£40,399.00 - £66,745.00
(inc out of hours work & intensity payment & is dependent upon experience)

Applications are invited from experienced Emergency Medicine Doctors for a bespoke Emergency Medicine job. The successful candidate will join a medical team of five Consultants two Associate Specialists, two full time & two part time Staff Grades, and six junior trainees. 

This job allows the applicant an opportunity to work in a unique way with no weekday working. 

This job will appeal to a diverse section of people. Ideal for those working towards an exam, completing CESR application, or parents who want to provide weekday childcare. 

You will be required to provide weekend cover ONLY. The commitment is 4:5 weekends, alternating between 8am-8pm one weekend then 2pm-2am the following weekend. 

SPA time is included and annual leave and full allocation of study leave is built in prospectively.
