Salary:  MP Year 1-3 $291,524 - $337,695 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation and applicable allowances)

Area Profile: Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care.
Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint Health Service Medical Practitioners (HSMPs) and Senior Medical Practitioners (SMPs) to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department within the Rockingham Peel Group. Both roles promote patient safety and quality of care, whilst providing leadership, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for Doctors in Training and other health workers as appropriate. The HSMP and SMP work in collaboration with Head of Department and departmental Consultants to achieve national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets.
