Consultant Radiologists with interests in musculoskeletal, breast and general imaging (3 posts)

The London Northwest NHS Trust is looking for dynamic & highly motivated radiologists to join a team of 42 consultants, 3 staff grade doctors and 20 registrars working collaboratively across the 3 sites to provide high quality imaging service.

Three posts are available, one in musculoskeletal imaging, one in breast imaging and one in general imaging to include cross sectional and plain film work. All subspecialty interests in are welcome, with a particular need for general intervention, gynaecological and neurology imaging. There will be an expected on call commitment incorporating weekend working, maximum 1 in 10.

The department is highly regarded across Northwest London having developed innovative and integrated solutions in response to the changing needs of patients and clinical teams. The service has expanded to meet rising clinical demand and the 3 radiology departments provide a wide range of diagnostic services using state of the art equipment.

The successful candidates will contribute to the broad spectrum of specialist work that is undertaken by our consultant radiologists and will be expected to develop their own areas of sub-specialty interest as well as thematic approach to research & teaching. The clinical services provided at LNWUH are highly specialized and the respective successful applicants will therefore be expected to actively contribute to the work and development of imaging services to support changing clinical practice. The department hosts a comprehensive governance programme and encourages research with a research radiographer supporting the work and grant applications.
