We are seeking to appoint three Community Consultant Psychiatrists in Older People’s Mental Health in North Hampshire, following the previous post holders retiring and the recent reconfiguration of the OPMH Service within Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. The post holders will be working with enthusiastic and committed colleagues to deliver high quality care across the spectrum of Older People’s Mental Health issues. The three vacant positions comprise: one full-time post serving the central west and rural west areas of Basingstoke (Job Ref: 348-MH-111C), one full-time post serving the central east and rural north areas of Basingstoke (Job Ref: 348-MH-112C) and one part-time post serving the rural east area of North Hampshire (Job Ref: 348-MH113C); with all posts being based centrally at Parklands Hospital, in the town of Basingstoke itself.

It employs over 7,000 staff and provides specialist mental health services, learning disability services, social care and community health care services within both specialised and geographically-based Integrated Service Divisions. The Foundation Trust primarily covers all of Hampshire, excluding Portsmouth City and a small area of North East Hampshire.
