Intellectual Disability Service - Intensive Assessment and treatment teams (South Hams & West Devon; North & Mid Devon)
Two substantive posts
One full time (10PAs) and one part time (7PAs)

We are currently recruiting to 2 substantive Consultant posts in Devon within the Intellectual Disability Service. One is a full time post offered at 10 Programmed Activities per week with the Intensive Assessment and Treatment team - South Hams & West Devon. The second is a part time post offered at 7 Programmed Activities per week with the Intensive Assessment and Treatment team - North & Mid Devon. These posts are community based. The Intensive Assessment and Treatment teams have a very strong ethos of multidisciplinary team working. A desire and ability to help maximise the access of people with intellectual disability to services and resources available from mainstream Mental Health and other services through such devices as collaborative/joint working as well as to contribute to the clinical leadership of the team is essential to ensure that high quality, patient-centred, effective, safe and efficient care is delivered by the team.
