An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Consultant Haematologist with a specialist interest in Lymphoid Malignancies. You will work within a cross-site multi-disciplinary team providing and further developing care for haemato-oncology patients with particular focus on lymphoid malignancies. The post is based at the PRUH site, but there may be opportunities for cross-site working. There will be 8.5 PA of DCC and 1.5 PA for SPA and other activities. The on-call commitment is 1:5 with cross cover. Inpatients are managed through 1:4 attending system currently in a dedicated Haematology/Oncology ward.
You will be a core member of the lymphoid multidisciplinary team which meets weekly, and includes videoconferencing with King’s Health Partners (KHP) partner Trusts and other networked hospitals.
The haematology consultant team is friendly and supportive and are supported by 4 junior doctors and 3 clinical nurse specialists.
Applicants are required to be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of expected date of CCT. Applicants who are unable to work full-time are welcome to apply.
