Candidates’ dual trained in General Internal Medicine and Specialty Medicine would be welcome to apply and specialty sessions would be considered and accommodated where possible.

They will also allow an excellent teaching programme to be delivered to University of Buckingham undergraduate medical students. We believe Acute Medicine to be hard but rewarding work that requires a balanced job plan allowing time for reflection, away from direct clinical care. This is essential for sustainability and to ensure we have the best diagnostic physicians working at the front door to ensure high quality patient care, junior doctor supervision and efficient service delivery.
