London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust welcomes applications from people who wish to work part time or flexibly.

Applications are invited to apply for the post Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine at Ealing Hospital.

Applicants must possess MRCP and be within six months of obtaining a CCST in respiratory and general medicine. The applicant must be in possession of a valid GMC Registration.

The respiratory department at Ealing Hospital has a 28 bedded in-patient ward, sees general respiratory and lung cancer patients in outpatients, carries out bronchoscopy weekly and has a fully equipped lung function laboratory. Respiratory patients are based on 6 South a 28 ward. There are Respiratory and general medical outliers on the Acute Medical Unit and other medical wards. Respiratory and general medical patients are shared equally amongst the three consultants. The post holder will participate in providing senior supervision for acute medicine four weekends per year (Friday to Sunday) and will contribute the rest of the time to the specialist services in respiratory medicine. The post holder will have 3 general respiratory clinics per week and a fortnightly bronchoscopy session. The job is advertised at 10 programmed activities.
