Applications are invited for a substantive Consultant to join the friendly, well organised O&G Department at the Royal Oldham Hospital Care Organisation (ROH) part the Northern Care Alliance. Acute general hospital services are provided for the population of the North East of Greater Manchester and it handles over 5,000 deliveries per year.
The post is an excellent opportunity for an applicant with an interest in benign abdominal gynaecology. You will have obstetrics resident night duty responsibility at the Royal Oldham Hospital as part of the 1:10 model, the rota is supported by an O&G non-resident rota.
The post has identified time for continuing professional development and supporting professional activities.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with valid license to practice and be on the Specialist Register or eligible for entry within 6 months of the date of AAC and will have MRCOG or equivalent appropriate specialist qualification.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to visit the Trust and meet members of the clinical and management team and other senior members of staff. Appointments can be made for a visit at any point prior to the date of interview.
