We’re looking to recruit dynamic Consultant Paediatricians to complement and work as part of our integrated Community Paediatric Medical teams in Southampton and Portsmouth.
For the Portsmouth role, you’ll provide consultant leadership and have clinical responsibility for neurodevelopmental and neuro-disability clinics within a Portsmouth geographical area. As part of the transformational integration work being undertaken in children’s services there is also a requirement for cross cover across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire localities. The post includes clinical work in Child Protection.
In Southampton, you’ll provide Consultant leadership and have clinical responsibility for neuro developmental and neurodisability clinics in the Southampton East locality. You’ll also participate in the duty roster for child protection work. The post includes the Named Doctor role for Child Protection.
The Trust is situated in a vibrant maritime city with a long naval history and excellent shopping facilities. With the New Forest nearby, the area provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor leisure activities. We are a short time away from London by road and rail, with easy access to the continent by air and ferry.
