Consultants in Medical Microbiology
The Black Country Pathology Service (BCPS) is seeking to recruit two Consultant Medical Microbiologists to join the existing Consultant workforce to be based at Russell's Hall Hospital, Dudley. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to participate in the delivery of a single integrated, high quality pathology service to the Trusts and GPs in the area as a hub and spoke model. These posts are offered whole time (10 PAs plus 1 PA for on call).
The BCPS is being formed by four Trusts: the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust (DGFT), The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT), Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWBH) and Walsall NHS Healthcare Trust (WHT).
These posts will be based in the Microbiology Department located in the newly appointed laboratories at Russell's Hall Hospital, Dudley.
Applications are invited from medical practitioners with relevant skills and experience who are fully registered with the GMC, and who are listed in the GMCs Specialist Registrar. Specialist Registrars who have successfully
completed all parts of their training leading to FRCPath should be listed in the GMCs Specialist Registrar within six months of the Appointments Committee.
