Clinical Chair in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
We wish to recruit a leading clinical academic with a strong applied or clinical research background in an area of Obstetrics & Gynaecology that complements the research already being undertaken at University of Aberdeen. This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record in winning grants (including clinical trials where relevant), leading a research group, publishing in high impact journals and providing clinical academic leadership in research and teaching.
This permanent post is aimed at individuals at Consultant level within Obstetrics & Gynaecology who have already demonstrated commitment to a clinical academic career path and delivered excellence in both academic and clinical roles at a senior level. The appointee will be accorded NHS Honorary Consultant status as appropriate and will contribute to the clinical work of the NHS Department.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Clinical Consultant salary scale (£78,304 - £105,570 per annum) and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
