Consultant Occupational Health Physician
Applications are invited for a Consultant Occupational Health Physician at Nottingham University Hospitals(NUH) NHS Trust.
The post will provide excellent experience across the range of Occupational Health Services in a friendly department in a busy, teaching hospital. The post will be based at the Queen’s Medical Centre Campus but will involve some travel to NHS and non-NHS customers around the East Midlands. The service has a wide range of public, charity and private customers covering a wide range of industries including manufacturing, retail and education. The service currently generates in excess of £1,000,000 income.
Our SEQOHS accredited department has two trainees, and the successful applicant will be responsible for some educational supervision, together with assisting the Trust’s strategy for occupational health and workforce well-being.
All candidates must hold full GMC registration and a license to practice at the time of appointment, be on the specialist register for Occupational Medicine or within6 months of CCT.

Whilst this post is commissioned to be full time (40 hours per week) the service would welcome applications from those wanting a better work life balance. The service will support reasonable reimbursement of relocation expenses to support individuals moving to the East Midlands in line with the Trust Policy.
This is a substantive post for 10 programmed activities per week, commencing as soon as possible.
