Specialty Doctor (0.7 WTE or opportunity for full time post)
Our specialty doctor will be based on our MBU (opening January 2019). The Specialty Doctor will provide a key clinical role in these service developments and excellent clinical skills are required to support development of our inpatient perinatal service. There is an opportunity to take part in the middle tier on call rota for General Adult and Old Age. Applications welcome from associate specialists for the speciality doctor role (pay protection will be honoured). Part time or dual role applications welcomed, including flexible working patterns.
We play an active part in the wider national and regional perinatal networks, with numerous teaching opportunities available at the medical school, University of East Anglia. NSFT has an excellent research department and is involved in a number of local and national studies to support the development of research and evaluation. There is opportunity to develop a culture of research and be part of national perinatal research studies in the future, which would be supported.
