+richmond practice is an independent clinic. We offer a bespoke and upmarket service from a well-equipped and newly refurbished listed facility in Richmond. The practice is walking distance from the station and very close to good schools and the airport.

Applications are invited to apply for the post as a private paediatrician who will take a leadership role in moving forward our paediatric service. The post constitutes a substantive part-time role and you will be based in Richmond (TW10). 

The appointee will join a team of doctors, including another Consultant Paediatricians, Gynaecologists and a GP, who work together as a multidisciplinary team in a primary care setting. You will join a team with a unique approach to private health care provision in Richmond.

The current incumbent has a mixed caseload doing general paediatrics, neonatal work, health and developmental checks, vaccines, emergencies and routine appointments. Ultrasound qualifications and experience will be an advantage.

Our patients are from the local area and we also have expatriates attending the clinic. We therefore welcome specialists who have both local and international experience.

There is an ultrasound scanner available in the room from where our consultants see patients. The rooms are well equipped and patients have long appointment slots of 40 minute and more per patient.

There is regular training available onsite as doctors attend weekly multi-disciplinary meetings, in-house training and consultant talks or updates.

Fee: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum for seven sessions per week.
Hours: This is a substantive post and you will be required to work between four and seven sessions per week.

Requirements: You will ideally have substantive international work experience or speak a European language such as German, French or Italian. Substantive NHS experience and or a degree from an international university will be an advantage.

Ultrasound skill and qualifications and allergy testing and treatment skills will also be an advantage.

You will be expected to take forward the safe-guarding lead role at the practice.
