BECOME A GENERAL PRACTITIONER IN THE RAF
The RAF is recruiting GPs to deliver world class specialist care. GPs play a vital role in keeping our personnel fit and medically prepared for operational roles. They deliver a high standard of care in unique, and sometimes challenging, environments around the world.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary primary healthcare team in a Defence Primary Healthcare Medical Centre. In addition to your role as a GP you will acquire and utilise skills in occupational medicine, aviation medicine, aeromedical evacuation, sports and exercise medicine and pre-hospital care. You will also have opportunities to practise these skills overseas in the deployed setting, whether as support to deployed forces or in disaster relief operations.
On top of a competitive salary, consistent support and exceptional training, we offer a structured and progressive career path designed to encourage and reward excellence. Working in the RAF will give you the opportunity to embark on a completely new adventure.
