Full Time

We are looking for a motivated individual with exceptional leadership skills. The obstetrics and gynaecology department at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn is a busy department with good clinical outcomes and growing activity.

We have close clinical links with both Cambridge and Norwich University hospitals as well as educational links with the University of Cambridge and the University of East Anglia.

The Trust has a thriving gynaecology workload and we are now looking to further develop our maternity work. With 2500 births per year (and rising) we are now looking at new pathways of care across our local area. We have a new Midwifery Led Waterlily Birth Centre

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the clinical activity of the department but we are willing to be flexible to accommodate the interests and needs of the right candidate.

There may also be opportunities, for those considering a career in medical leadership, to develop wider responsibilities across the Trust and in the STP.

There is some flexibility in the person specification so, if you might be interested, please contact us for an informal discussion.
