The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary would like to invite candidates to apply for three full-time posts. Two of these posts are purely Obstetrics with areas of special interest and one is Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The Early Pregnancy Lead Obstetrics post is temporary for one year.

The Unit is the designated tertiary referral unit for the North East of Scotland and provides a full range of Obstetric and Gynaecological services. The unit has responsibility for approximately 6,000 deliveries and 9,000 Gynaecology admissions per annum. Successful candidates will join a strong team of 23 Consultant Obstetricians, Gynaecologists and Professorial staff.

You will be fully supported by a thriving and friendly department and will
be encouraged to take forward service and academic development.
Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required.

Essential qualifications for this post include MRCOG or equivalent.
