You’ll be working with a close-knit, collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team. We have a track record of developing new and creative ways to address mental health needs of children and young people and your contribution will be influential. At Falcon House, in St James’ Hospital in Portsmouth City, the working environment is excellent. Portsmouth is sandwiched between the beautiful South Downs and the Solent, England’s premier boating centre. The weather is delightful!
You’ll be asked to join the second on call rota on an approximately 1:11 basis, supporting a first on rota of experienced trainees. The job plan is immediately reviewable and we will seek the best possible alignment of service needs with your own professional development.
Applicants to this role will have the opportunity to pursue an interest in the psychiatry of eating disorders, paediatric liaison, and children looked after by the Local Authority.
