The Neurosciences Sector brings together Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neurophysiology and Neuropsychology and is sited in one expansive area within the teaching hospital of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
We currently have the following vacancy;
This Consultant post is offered on a whole-time or part-time basis and will replace the existing Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist in Aberdeen.
The successful applicant will join a dedicated and experienced team of Clinical Physiologists and a Paediatrician with an interest in Neurology providing a wide range of Neurophysiological investigations for adults
and children, and will be involved in developing the department.
You should be appropriately experienced and qualified in the specialty, fully registered with the GMC and have a license to practice. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
Aberdeen city and shire is adored by the Royal Family, and is a region with a maritime heritage which offers lively events and a selection of thrilling activities.
There is a wealth of attractions to discover, offering everything from crumbling castles to pristine beaches, riveting Highland games, delectable food and drink, amazing wildlife and more set against some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery.
The area also stands at the gateway to some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery, with the Cairngorms National Park, the largest National Park in Britain only 40 minutes away.
The park is host to array of outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hill walking and skiing. We are easily accessible by air, rail and road across the UK and beyond.
