Consultant Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgeon
Applications are invited for the substantive, full-time post of Consultant in Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery based within the Division of Surgery, Head & Neck at University Hospitals Bristol. We are one of the UK’s leading Hepatopancreaticobiliary centres with an international reputation for healthcare research.
This post is designed to support the delivery of both the HPB Cancer Network service and also the specialist benign HPB service. You will be joining a team of five specialist Hepatopancreaticobiliary surgeons, who have a strong team-based approach to patient care.
It is expected that the successful appointee will have a particular interest in cancer surgery and the care of patients with severe, complex pancreatitis
The post-holder will also have responsibilities to develop and contribute to continuing education, professional development, audit and research within the Division and Trust.
Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or equivalent, or within 6 months of attaining Specialist Registration at the time of interview. Applications from candidates who, for personal reasons, are unable to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for this post.
