Clinical Teaching Fellow in Primary Care Medical Education

Part Time: 18.25 hours per week (50% FTE)
The role will include organisation and delivery of general practice medical education across the MBBS. The post holder will contribute to the delivery and development of our undergraduate general practice programmes to address these recommendations: aiming to share with students the exciting nature of general practice as a clinical, scholarly discipline; and equip students with an understanding of how to work within, or interface with GP and its evolving position within the organisation of NHS healthcare.
Applicants must have a degree in Medicine, be clinically active in a Primary Care related role (such as GP) be fully registered with the GMC and have Membership of the RCGP. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and maintain an active research portfolio. This is a 5 year development post, and applicants will be expected to undertake postgraduate studies such as an M.Med, M.Sc, PhD or EdD.
