Clinical Research Fellow Obstetrics and Gynaecology
We seek an enthusiastic individual for the post of Clinical Research Fellow from 1 August 2018. This established post will allow you to develop skills in clinical research, with access to a number of research opportunities. You will be expected to produce high quality research for peer review publication and national/international meeting presentations. The post will enhance both academic and clinical achievements for the successful applicant
University Hospital Crosshouse is a large general hospital, situated 35 minutes south of Glasgow. It covers a catchment population of around 240,000. This post is ideally suited to a trainee in O&G who has experience at middle grade level (ST3/4/5). The clinical component of this post, including on-call commitments contributes to the middle grade rota and will be based in Ayrshire Maternity Unit and University Hospital Crosshouse. There are 12 hours per week of protected time for clinical research.
Full participation in the general Obstetrics and Gynaecology middle grade on-call rota at University Hospital Crosshouse is also required which attracts a Band 2B payment.
