Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, a multi-award winning Trust and voted one of the top 10 best places to work in the NHS, is a well-managed and financially stable foundation trust with an excellent track record of providing high quality mental health and learning disability services to 2 million people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and York and Selby.
This post has arisen as a result of retirement. This is an opportunity for passionate applicants to join an established team of 9 committed and supportive consultants across Teesside CYPS; there are also speciality doctors and tier 4 consultant colleagues. We rated extremely well in the NHS National benchmarking report (2017) on CAMHS services. Tees CYPS has embedded CYP-IAPT, a 24/7 CAMHS crisis/liaison service, young person-centred care pathways, embraces quality improvement, is developing currency and tariff systems and also benefits from a commitment from local commissioners who have supported investment in our services over the last few years.
Informal enquiries and arrangements to visit the Trust are welcomed by Dr Zoë Gilder, Clinical Director Teesside CYPS on (01429) 285051 or Dr Ahmad Khouja, Medical Director on (01325) 552304.
