Following a very successful public consultation, implementation of the programme is underway with a wide range of secondary care services now being provided via new models of care in community locations. As part of this programme, and part of our 2020 vision, we will open our eagerly awaited Midland Metropolitan Hospital, putting us firmly on the map as one of the nation’s leading provider of integrated care. It will bring all of our acute services onto one site, promoting better patient safety and patient experience.
