Consultant Anaesthetist – Interest in Obstetric Anaesthesia

We provide a full range of acute adult services to our local population of circa 350,000 and provide tertiary services across a much wider area in the North West, North Wales and Isle of Man. We are a Major Trauma Unit and the Mersey Regional Burns Unit.

You are invited for a Consultant in Anaesthesia at St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This appointment affords an exciting opportunity to join a busy, innovative, developing and expanding anaesthetic department.
The post is a full time appointment (10.0 PAs) with 8.0 PAs of Direct Clinical Care, 1.5 PAs of which are out-of-hours, and 2.0 for Supporting Professional Activity.
The anaesthetic team currently has 40 consultants, supported by an associate specialist, 4 specialty grade doctors, and 15 specialist trainees.

You must have full GMC registration and be on the specialty register or be within 6 months of receiving their CCT from date of interview.
