Applications are invited for a whole time substantive Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Hepatobiliary and Neuroendocrine (HPB/NET) imaging. This is a unique opportunity to join the HPB imaging team and work as a part of the wider Liver transplant and HPB team, the largest combined unit in Europe offering a tertiary and quaternary care service.

There will be an on-call commitment to this post. Applicants must be on or eligible for GMC specialist register for Radiology within 6 months of the interview date.

The Imaging Department provides a comprehensive service accepting both regional and supraregional diagnostic and interventional referrals to a wide range of clinical specialties. The Department carries out in the region of 330,000 examinations and procedures each year spread across all of the diagnostic and interventional modalities. The 48 existing Consultant Radiologist team have well established links into all of the specialty and sub specialty clinical teams across the Trust, including access to the Trusts research and audit teams as appropriate including supporting a large number of clinical trials. The Department also provides imaging support for the Royal Centre Defence Medicine and is a Level 1 Major Trauma Centre.
