Applications are invited for the above vacant post to work alongside a team of experienced Breast Radiologists and Radiographers in providing a comprehensive breast imaging service based in the Birmingham Women’s Hospital. Subject to discussion and agreement, the successful applicant may also have allocated sessions in the main radiology department.

You will join a team carrying out a range of breast imaging modalities including screening and symptomatic mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and MRI. Ample clinical material and facilities are available for clinical research and audit. You would be expected to take an active part in undergraduate teaching and postgraduate training of SPRs on the Birmingham based West Midlands Radiology Training Scheme.  

This post provides an opportunity to gain experience as part of an established and proactive Consultant Radiologist and support team working in close collaboration with the wider Breast services specialty in delivering a high quality service.
