Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the following temporary post: Consultant Neonatologist.

This is a two year fixed term appointment on a Type B consultant contract with the following weekly commitment:

National Maternity Hospital 39 hours

The postholder will function as a Consultant Neonatologist, provide cover for colleagues when required and participate in the on-call rota.

The following professional qualifications and experience shall apply to this appointment:

a) Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of Paediatrics.


b) Two years certified postgraduate training in Neonatology
