Salary: MP Year 1‐2 $191,488 (£106,214*) ‐ $200,344 (£111,127*) p.a. ﴾inclusive of base salary, 9.5%

Position Profile: The Department of Gastroenterology at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals offers the opportunity for Senior Fellows in Adult Gastroenterology in the fields of Interventional Endoscopy, Hepatology or Inflammatory Bowel Disease. 

The Gastroenterology Service provides well‐established General Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Nutrition and Interventional/Therapeutic Endoscopy services. The applicant will have the opportunity to continue training in consultative gastroenterology, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy ﴾including endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP﴿, and participate in research.

Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital ﴾FSH﴿ is a 783‐bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose‐built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Eligibility to Apply: Successful applicants will have completed advanced training in Gastroenterology in Australia ﴾or similar overseas﴿ and be eligible for ﴾or have been awarded﴿ their Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians/ FRACP ﴾Gastroenterology﴿. They will need to be credentialed by the conjoint committee for recognition of training in endoscopy and colonoscopy in Australia ﴾or similar overseas﴿.The department does accept  applications from candidates who will be in their final year of
advanced training.
