We welcomed our first inpatients in January and will be ramping up our services during the rest of 2018 to reach full operational capacity.  When the hospital is fully open, our Women’s Clinical Management Group (CMG) will provide services in Maternal/Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine, and Gynecology.  .

We are now seeking to fill the exciting role of Vice Chair – Women’s CMG.  Reporting to the Executive Chair, the Vice Chair provides clinical, education, research and executive management leadership for the CMG.  The Vice Chair is a clinical and managerial leader working with the Sidra executive team to develop and deliver strategy and business plans, and is accountable for resources and performance in the CMG.  It is intended that the Vice Chair will also continue with clinical, educational and research activities and will have a full-time appointment to Weill Cornell Medical College – Qatar.

With a medical degree from an Accredited School of Medicine, you will have residency training in Obstetrics, and Subspecialty Fellowship in specialty area or equivalent.  Actively licensed to practice in your home country, you will have at least 10 years’ progressive medical and administrative experience in a complex healthcare environment operating a midwifery model.  You will possess strong business acumen with a track record of positive engagement with senior internal and external stakeholders.  Broad interpersonal skills and fluency in the English language are essential.
