Please note this is for the 2019 Fellow Nephrology intake commencing February 2019.

Position Profile: This position is based at Fiona Stanley hospital (FSH), one of WA’s newest state of art hospital. FSH has a 24 chair dialysis unit on-site in addition to the oversight of several satellite dialysis units including rural and remote areas.  FSH provides comprehensive renal services including general Nephrology, CKD, pre-dialysis and renal transplantation services.

Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital ﴾FSH﴿ is a 783‐bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose‐built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. 
Fremantle Hospital is a 300‐bed specialist hospital focused on providing high‐ quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

Eligibility to Apply: This position is suitable for those who have completed core nephrology training as stipulated by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians - SAC Nephrology or equivalent and have less than 3 years’ experience as a nephrologist or those who made significant progress in their core nephrology trainin (final year of core nephrology training).
