Dear Junior Doctors!

As you know the August Rotation is soon upon us and with the news that many junior doctors are finding themselves without a contract we want to offer as much support as possible to anybody affected while you consider your options over the coming weeks. RIG Locums has a long history of providing expert guidance to doctors who have taken a year out of training by helping them settle into full time, long term locum posts in their chosen speciality.

During rotation times it is important for hospitals to manage the induction of new Foundation Year junior doctors by providing the appropriate levels of senior experienced staff. August is a very busy month for the locum markets as many Departments need to take on long term locums to provide extra cover while senior permanent staff guide the juniors or even to fill some of the gaps where trainees have not arrived as planned.

RIG Locums work with NHS Trusts all over the UK, alongside many private hospitals, and as a framework supplier we have access to all the jobs nationwide as soon as they are needed. Here at RIG we like to get doctors on board as early as possible prior to their available period so they can complete registration in good time – this in turn allows the doctor to accept their perfect locum offer without delay.

The benefits of working with RIG Locums:

  • Approved NHS Framework Supplier
  • Weekly Payroll
  • CPD training provided including BLS
  • Expert Recruiters working solely in one Specialty
  • Designated Body for the GMC
  • Excellent referral schemes

The requirements for working with RIG Locums include:

  • Full GMC Licence
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • 2 Recent References
  • Valid DBS Certificate
  • Life Support Training Cert
