Influence the children’s public health agenda in Gloucestershire
29.6 (0.8 FTE) hours per week as part of a job share
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding consultant in Public Health / Public Health Medicine, to work with the existing job share (0.3 wte) to lead the children’s public health and public mental health agendas. As one of the leading commissioning councils in the country, this is a huge opportunity for you to drive the public health agenda forward.
You will have a primary focus on topic areas such as: children’s public health and public mental health. Working with partners and stakeholders, you will influence local commissioning to deliver better health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
Alongside your excellent leadership skills, you will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working in these areas of public health. Being on the GMC/GDC Specialist Register/UK Voluntary Register for Public Health Specialists is an essential requirement.
