Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care
Our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit supports a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, major trauma, education and research. Services include surgical services such as neurosurgery, ophthalmology, urology, orthopaedics, scoliosis surgery, plastic and cleft lip and palate surgery, paediatric general surgery and oncology surgery.
Medical services supported include acute paediatrics, endocrinology, respiratory medicine, immunology, rheumatology, haematology, oncology, allergy, neurology, and gastroenterology. The appointment will join a close team of nurses, physiotherapy, dieticians, SLT, psychology, counselling and other members of the multidisciplinary team as well as six other consultants.
You will be fully registered with the GMC or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
Full Registration and a Licence to Practise with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
