Consultant in Interventional Cardiology

The Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a full time Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at Harefield Hospital. This post is to substantiate post currently filled by a locum; it is a whole time Consultant in Interventional Cardiology.
The principal role of this post is to provide clinical care of patients in the Cardiology Unit, with particular emphasis on Interventional cardiology.
You will provide clinical services in Cardiology in accordance with clinical and legal requirements and in keeping with the international role of the Trust.
You would be expected to take part in and maintain a 24 hour service for primary angioplasty and acute coronary syndromes at Harefield Hospital.
You will also engage in clinical research in invasive and interventional cardiology at a level in keeping with the 5* research rating of the National Heart & Lung Institute.
You are required to be fully registered Medical Practitioners and must be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or be eligible for admission to the Register within six months from date of interview for the post.
